George & Vicki's '66 Nova SS. Its sportin' a 350 c.i. with
700R4, Comp Cam and Roller Rockers, 3:73 Posi-Traction rear end.
The car was a disaster when we drug it out of a barn in rural Thornton,
Colorado. It had been cannibalized of most body parts.
It had maroon fenders, red doors, blue body, and a big hole for
high-rise intake manifold cut out of the Hood. There wasn't any
engine or transmission, all those pieces were given to me in boxes.
It took from 1999 until 2009 when it was finally completed.
Having to repaint the car again in 2010, since the paint on the doors
and the rest of the body did not match. The paint on the car was
finally done in May of 2010, and I am very proud of how it turned out.
I plan on becoming an active member in the RMNC again after the first of
the year. |
